In case you still want to check archive files (as we are still in the process of transferring them altogether in the new home....), you may still click the old link (FORUMS (OLD SITE)) and still pay a visit to our old home......... JOIN US FOR THIS MUCH-AWAITED EVENT OF THE YEAR, WHICH HAS BECOME A MAJOR EVENT HERE IN SOUTHEAST ASIA ON ITS EIGHTH YEAR!!! A MAJOR CONVERGENCE OF ALL COLLECTORS, COSPLAYERS, HOBBYISTS, KIDS, FAMILIES AND EVERYONE FROM DIFFERENT WALKS OF LIFE!!!

TOY-CON 2009: THE AFTERMATH!!!!!!! (Day One)

Sorry for the delay guys and gals, took quite a time to do some photo editing (and I still am just about to get halfway through the bunch that was taken in the last two days of the Con!!!), but anyway, here are some of the coverage shots of the last toy-con, as the events page are progressively being reconstructed, I strongly suggest that you pay our Forums a nice visit as it holds tons of photos covering the same event! So here it is!!!!!

As always, Toy-Con will never be complete with the presence of CosPlay Superstar Sisters Alodia and Ashley Gosengfiao, together with a launch of their own products at the MaxiCollector Booth. Fans both from the Toy Collecting World and the CosPlay Mania will never have their Toy-Con Experience complete if they have not laid their eyes for just a sec with these fine ladies.......

And Darna Lands at the MegaMall Megatrade Hall!!!! Our Darna CosPlayer is one of the Winners in the individual category during the CosPlay event held earlier (before this lucky photo-op was taken). For more Cosplay Photos, I suggest you give our event section at the forums a visit, and for Cosplayers who wanted to have high-resolution copies of their winning form, just email the photographers who took your shot or look them up at their multiply sites and add em up!

And with the collecting world becoming more diverse in the succeeding years, new products and genres come to the fore, with new talents both local and foreign coming into the market with new collectibles catering to new breed of collectors......

Art Vinyls by Rommel Chua of HM2003, together with Mindstyle who are introducing new products in the market.....

Richie De La Merced and his Fat Boy Studios with the introduction of limited lifelike replica busts of popular movie and cartoon characters which was already introduced last year......

Of course as most collecting forums were given a display corner for members to get their kick-ass collectibles be publicly known, our very own Digit was selected by our members to have his customized G.I. Joe vehicles grace our designated display cab!

Of course no one also wants to miss the mainstay displays of full-sized statues made by Mr. Jun Asilo, famous for his renditions of full-sized characters (Maybe I'll look forward to a better-looking Ronald McDonald or Jollibee stat renderd by him at the soonest, one that has art onto it!)

Toy-Con won't be complete without a drop at Maxi's Booth, showcasing the classic genre of High-End Collectibles which also command a good level of popularity amongst collectors.......
